On Friday, October 27th, at 7 pm, Vista Del Lago will be playing in a highly anticipated matchup against San Bernardino.

The boys have been effortlessly preparing for this upcoming game. Despite it being a bit of a rocky season, the players are prepared for anything that comes their way.

“I hope we can all work together as one, and that we’re all where we’re suppose to be.” Senior Linebacker Gilbert Carrillo said.

The players have been practicing all week, improving their skills and hoping for the best outcome against this upcoming team. Most players have attended every single practice in hopes that they can come on top.

“I’ve been showing up to practice everyday, I haven’t missed a single practice.” Junior Guard David Calixtro said.

Last year, the Ravens played in a hard fought game but were one point shy of winning the game and many of the players hope the hard work and practice pays off that they’ll win the game.

“We as team, we feel very confident about this upcoming game, they’re basically one of our rivals. Last year we lost to them by one point so we’re hoping to come back this game.” Senior Cornerback, Marcus Ayala said.

If the Ravens do win, it will be the first win since the 2015 season which will make the win even more special.
