The theater department is hosting it’s annual Spring One ACT Extravaganza in the school auditorium May 25.

One act has been performing for 4 years and creating new plays every year. The student-directed plays have been getting plenty of attention since the short numbers are held during school and not after.

“One act has a big impact on the students. When writing the acts, directing them, and creating the costumes and props, helps them become more independent as students,” claims Ms. Gysberg, Theater teacher

These short numbers will be performed by the students. When writing the acts, directing them, each student performs at least 4 acts until proceeding to the next student. The students need to know how to manage their time since these acts have a time limit.

“Students really get more involved. We would like more individuals to going to one act community. It’s super outgoing and really fun.” Senior, Sarah Rodriguez says

Since the one act has less than a month to prepare, they started preparing as soon as possible.
