We go day after day with negative connotations thrown at Blacks and Latinos, although it has been proven not to be true.

As students who identify as Black and Latina, we have witnessed these stereotypes being thrown at our people. In this video, we decided to discuss mainstream stereotypes that influence social media. Because many students are subject to social media, the form in which a certain ethnicity is viewed may be biased, ignorant, or prejudice. But in reality, stereotypes—good and bad—are inaccurate and don’t correspond to everyone.
