When it comes to fashion, I think of it as an art. To some, fashion is all about staying updated with trends, and of course, following them. However, I believe fashion is about creating your own style. Only dead fish go with the flow. From my point of view, it’s better to stand out and be unique.

That is why, “Exotic Innovations” is for the creative souls. Those that dress to stand out, and not to fit in. It could however, also be for those that don’t mind stepping into the trend zone to make their outfit pop a bit more.

At the end of the day, it’s all about what you believe fashion is. I will be introducing new fashionistas weekly, as well as give tips and “must-haves” for the seasons.

“Exotic Innovations” will include styles such as trendy, vintage, bohemian, preppy, and overall, exotic. Personally, I consider my style to be all over the place. I enjoy taking different styles and mixing them to make them my own. Simply put, I’m a mix and match type of gal. I’m the type to style a dress from the thrift store, with a cute bomber jacket from Forever 21.

Brands mean nothing to me, because it’s not all about where you get your clothes, it’s how you style it that creates a look. Designers such as Coco Chanel and Miuccia Prada do in fact inspire me. However, I also think of celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Danielle Peazer and many other as fashion icons. I even see strangers in the school halls or in a fashion boutique and think, “now that’s a look”. The thing is, inspiration is everywhere.

I’m glad to be in love with the world of fashion. “Exotic Innovations” is simply what I believe fashion is, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
